NUFSAA is the blog for Filipino scholars and alumni of Nagoya University (NU), Japan. The alumni are those who earned degrees in the Bachelors, Master's and Doctor's programs at NU. The scholars include visiting students who undertook non-degree programs, special seminars/training including the intensive six-month Japanese language course.

NUAL Philippine Members elect officers for 2017 and 2018 during Shinenkai 2017

Thirty two members - Filipino and Japanese alumni  - attended the NUAL Philippine Branch  General Assembly and Shinenkai held last Jan. 29, 2017 at the National Institute of Molecular and Micro-Biology (NIMMB, UP Dililman, QC. The members also elected the new set of officers for 2017 and 2018). 
The New Officers (2017 and 2018) are:
  • President: Dr. Pag-asa Gaspillo (D.Eng, 1995), Prof. DLSU
  • Vice President: Dr. Cynthia Palmes-Saloma (BS Mol. Bio 1993), Prof. UPD
  • Secretary: Dr. Andres Oreta (D.Eng. 1994), Prof. , DLSU
  • Asst. Sec.: Dr. Ron Vilog (GSID), Assoc. Prof., DLSU
  • Treasurer: Daisy Montesa (Japanese Lang, 1989), Retired
  • Asst. Treasurer: Sherry Ivy Valenuzuela (M. Env. Eng. 2014), MMDA
