I received (May 2014) an email from Prof. Itoh and Prof. Nakano of Nagoya University requesting us to organize the Nagoya University Philippines Alumni. See Image of email below:
This August 2014, another email was sent informing us about the visit of the President of Nagoya University:
"Dr. Hamaguchi, President of Nagoya University has a plan to visit Philippines in the middle of December 2014. The main purpose of the President’s trip is to visit academic institutions ex. Southeast Asian Regional Center for Graduate Study(SEARCA) and Dr.Saito will organize and join this trip. Taking the opportunity of the President’s visit, we would like to recommend you that NU Philippines alumni will meet on this occasion."
In preparation for this event, we would like to organize our alumni and scholars by holding our first reunion and meeting on Sept. 20, 2014 at DLSU, S&T Canlubang Campus. We hope you can come so that we can share our good memories about NU.
